Hope and Resilience in the Time of COVID on ZOOM Saturday, September 25th, 2 PM EST
You are invited to attend the Book launch of : Hope and Resilience in the Time of Covid” an anthology of community writing and artistry, with submissions from adults and children across the world and especially from the Eastern Townships. It is a collection of different artforms, incorporating short stories, memoirs, haiku, poetry, photos, drawings and paintings.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while fear and uncertainty swirled around us, a group of creatives set about documenting their daily lives: their fears, their disappointments, their hopes, thoughts, and dreams. On occasion heart-breaking, and at others humorous and hopeful, the works in this anthology allow us a glimpse into the fortitude and resilience of the contributors. Most of all, though, this anthology highlights the unequivocal power of art in helping us make sense of an uncertain world reminding us that we really are all in this together.

Espoir et résilience durant le temps de la COVID sur ZOOM le samedi 25 septembre à 14 h HNE
Vous êtes invités à participer au lancement du livre: “Espoir et résilience durant le temps de la COVID” , une anthologie de littérature et arts communautaire crée par des adultes et des enfants à travers le monde et surtout provenant des cantons de l’est. La collection inclut différentes formes d’art, incorporant des histoires courtes, mémoires, haïku, poésie, photos, dessins et peintures.
À l’occasion déchirante et aussi humoristiques et plein d’espoir, les œuvres presenté dans cette anthologie nous permettent un aperçu de courage et de la résilience des contributeurs. Mais surtout, cette l’anthologie met en évidence le pouvoir de l’art a nous aider à donner du sens à un monde incertain, nous rappelant que nous sommes vraiment tous dans le même bateau
